Jason Whitlock: The Real Reason Why Scottie Pippen Trashes Michael Jordan

Scottie Pippen: “LeBron will be the greatest statistical guy to ever play the game of basketball, and there’s no comparison to him, NONE. So, does that make him the greatest player to ever play the game? I’ll leave that up for debating because I don’t believe there is a ‘greatest’ player because our game was a team game, and one player can’t do it. I seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play the Bulls, you guys saw him play. He was a horrible player, he was horrible to play with. He was all 1-on-1, he’s shooting bad shots. All of the sudden, we became a team and we start winning. Everybody forgot who he was. He was a player who was really not at the top of his category. It was scoring.”

Jason Whitlock: “We go from the Hall of Fame speech to potshots at virtually every interview. Here’s where I want to add some sympathy for Scottie Pippen. Scottie Pippen was married to a woman named Larsa for more than 20 years and now Michael Jordan’s son is now dating Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife. I think they just got divorced in 2021. I’m sorry, I would feel some sort of way about my former teammate and good friend, if his son started dating my ex-wife and was perhaps the reason why she is my ex-wife. I don’t blame Scottie for getting a little emotional and irrational, and I know this criticism of Jordan started with ‘The Last Dance’, but you never know when the thing with Larsa Pippen and Michael’s son started. There may be some synergy there… Scottie Pippen is written about and talked about in the sports world constantly, and a locker room environment you got a bunch of guys that love to talk trash, and Michael Jordan’s SON is tapping your ex-wife?? That’s a lot to deal with in ‘guy culture.’ Of all the fish in the sea and Michael Jordan’s son has to go get Scottie’s old fish. I just don’t get it.” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Jason Whitlock of ‘Fearless’ discuss the real reason why he thinks Scottie Pippen always seems to find himself taking potshots at Michael Jordan during media appearances, as Whitlock thinks Pippen’s recent ‘he was a horrible player’ remarks toward Jordan didn’t have anything to do with unsympathetic comments Jordan made about his ex-Bulls teammate during ‘The Last Dance’ documentary.

Check out the segment above as Whitlock says he has sympathy for Pippen and can see why there’s still anti-Jordan vitriol on Pippen’s end.
