Danny Ainge doesn't have a great track record of drafting stars in the NBA Draft. That's a crazy indictment of a GM because very few players actually become stars in the league, but when you are approaching every offseason the way Danny Ainge is, this is a huge knock on your performance.
The Celtics continue to stock-up on mid-round draft picks, acquiring future picks in exchange for current talent and making it very difficult to compete against LeBron James in the East. Instead of cashing in on various possible moves, Danny Ainge is hoarding picks and acting like someone with a plan, even though his track record says otherwise.
