The Dallas Mavericks sat at #9 on NBA Draft night and must have had a lot of possibilities floating around in their heads. Players like Markkanen, Isaac, Monk, and maybe even Frankie France could have come available, and any could have made an instant impact. With all that being said, the Mavericks took Dennis Smith Jr at 9, and couldn't have possibly imagined it would be this successful this quickly.
