American Culture - Why Football Will Never Change

The CTE study released yesterday has started some 'macro' conversations about football, and the impact it has on the bodies of those who play it for a lifetime. The brains were from players that played in a different generation, but they still signified a need for change in the way football is played and the way its athletes approach their lifestyles.

American culture is different than nearly everywhere else in that we don't take days off, we work hard, and we are stubborn supporting what we love. Football happens to be one of those things. 

Colin Cowherd explains how retiring early might be the answer for a lot of players moving forward, and touches on the various way the game can change for the better without entirely shifting it's culture. Listen here:
