Rams GM on Jared Goff: He's Still 22-Years-Old

“He’s still 22-years-old, let’s take Dak and Carson, they’re 24 years old. Right now, of the 32 teams and guys listed at no. 1 at QB, he’s the only 22-year-old listed a starting QB and we drafted for the long term.”

Rams GM Les Snead was on The Herd talking about the disastrous rookie campaign of former no. 1 overall pick Jared Goff, who was the league’s youngest starting QB last season.

Despite the eyesore numbers that painted the Cal product out as an early bust candidate, Snead says Goff is as confident and assertive as any quarterback he’s ever been around and isn’t riddled with the typically reserved demeanor of many young QB’s who struggle out of the gates and distance themselves with their locker rooms.
