Joe Rogan made the Correct Decision Interviewing Cormier

Daniel Cormier was knocked out by Jon Jones on Saturday night at UFC 214, and the fight was a brutal one. The two fighters went back and forth, eventually finishing up with a vicious Jon Jones attack that might have seen the fight last one punch too long. Either way, Cormier was defeated, and that meant the next step had to occur.

Joe Rogan, who is an incredible podcaster and comedian, had a job to do. He was supposed to interview Daniel Cormier after the fight, and Cormier had been knocked out.

"I never want to interview a fighter after they've been knocked out." Joe Rogan said in a reflective moment following his interview with Cormier, in which the fighter appeared concussed and truly heartbroken by the result of the fight. It is a difficult choice to make, but one that Colin Cowherd supports from Joe Rogan.

Listen below, as Colin explains why the interview between Rogan and Cormier was done for all the right reasons, and he supports the choice to conduct it. Audio is right here from both the live interview and Colin's opinion on this divisive issue:
