When Christian McCaffrey was drafted in the Top Ten, it turned a lot of heads. Before the draft, people had made assumptions that he would go in the middle of the first round to a team who needed a dynamic receiving third down back to complement an existing backfield. When the Panthers took him, his status immediately changed. He was now going to be utilized in an offense loaded with talent, and play with a quarterback who can let him run free.
