What do you think of when you hear the name, Jerry Jones?
Is it a TON of money? The Dallas Cowboys logo pops up immediately in your head? Is it Tony Romo? Oil? Texas? More money?
There are a lot of stereotypes that surround Jerry, and to be honest he deserves a lot of them. The guy who uses crazy media speculation and headline-grabbing speech to make sure his team remains in the national forefront doesn't exactly scream for your sympathy. You can picture whatever you want, but you sure as hell recognize the name and the brand.
That's the point.
Sometimes, however, you come across a story from someone who knew Jerry personally, and to be honest it can be shocking to hear them talk about Jerry the person. What a kind and compassionate man he is.
