Marshawn Lynch did not release a statement, he did not talk to the media, and he did not give a legitimate reason for refusing to stand for the National Anthem the other night during an NFL Preseason game. He simply said that he had before, and he is still doing it now. Now need for protest, public outcry, whatever you may say... he simply didn't want to stand.
Chris Broussard compares that to some of the more "thought-out" protests, and feels that if Lynch can't give a reason for sitting, he should be standing. Plain and simple.
