Think about the way we view Tom Brady and the New England Patriots heading into this season for a second. We think they look unbeatable, we think the team is loaded and ready to fire, and we assume that Tom Brady is as good as he has ever been.
Now imagine how you would think heading into this season if Tom Brady didn't have the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl last year.
"We completely change our evaluation based simply on the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. If we looked at it without the fourth, we see a lot of questions surrounding him this season."
It is not crazy to take a cautious approach to this upcoming season, and wonder if Brady might have a lot to prove even after winning a Super Bowl. Listen to the argument from Gottlieb here.
