There is no hiding the fact that the Denver Broncos haven't drafted a great quarterback in many years, and the fact that their best field general since their owner was on the field was a guy they got past his prime and after a neck surgery named Peyton Manning.
The development just isn't there, the scouting has been off, and the Broncos are heading into their second consecutive season without a clear-cut #1 on the depth chart.
