After annihilating a 10-win Colorado team 38-8 in the Alamo Bowl last December, Joel Klatt thinks the Oklahoma State Cowboys, ranked 10th in the Associated Press’ Preseason Top 25, is the team flying under the radar as a darkhorse National Championship contender.
Led by Mason Rudolph, a 6’5, 230-pound senior coming off a 28-touchdown, 4-INT year in 2016, Klatt says Rudolph, not Sam Darnold, should be the favorite to win the Heisman trophy, given the fact the Cowboys boast the most lethal wide receiving corps in college football according to Klatt.
