The Brooklyn Nets are not very good, but they aren't as terrible on paper heading into the season as they were the previous two years where they saw their top-3 pick hand over to the Boston Celtics.
This is something important to keep in mind as we evaluate the trade for Kyrie Irving. If the pick ends up being the Number One overall selection, the Cavs obviously look a lot better. However, if the reverse comes true as Doug Gottlieb hints it might, the Cavs could be in trouble.
