Lack of Lamar Jackson Heisman Hype has Nothing to do with Race

Lamar Jackson won the Heisman Trophy last year with one of the best individual seasons a quarterback has had in the recent college football era. He took home most individual honors that he possibly could have and comes back this season attempting to bring a National Title to Louisville.

That doesn't mean he should automatically be considered a Heisman front-runner, despite what a recent article claimed to be "racial bias" on the part of the media covering the upcoming college football season.

That's right, you heard that correctly. A piece said that Lamar Jackson being behind guys like Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield in preseason predictions was due to racism.

Thank you for grooving one over the plate for Clay Travis, whoever you are that wrote this.
