USC is Not Playing Clean, but Sam Darnold Is

USC has not been playing great football by their own standards in the first two weeks of the season, but sit at 2-0 after defeating #14 Stanford on Saturday night in primetime.

How have they been able to overcome sloppy play? It all comes back to Sam Darnold and the fact that he has been truly outstanding so far through the first two weeks of the year.

Stanford might have their best secondary ever, and certainly have one of the best defenses in all of college football, but Darnold made them look silly as he picked his way to the end zone time after time.
