Neither the USC Trojans or the Dallas Cowboys have a deep-threat on offense.
That's been proven by secondaries playing against both teams and has also been reiterated by some members of the team's themselves while self-identifying in the media. The difference between the two, however, is the obvious fact that one is in college and the other in the NFL.
Why is this important?
Well, the most important games of the season for college teams take place in warm weather. In the NFL, as the year winds down you see more ground-and-pound styles. You can get away with not having a deep threat.
