Prior to the beginning of the season, the AFC West was widely lauded as the toughest division in all of football. That narrative begin to collapse with the Chiefs storming out to a 5-0 start, leaving the rest of the division trailing behind. With the Raiders finding their footing in a 31-30 victory over the Chiefs on Thursday Night, and Kansas City staring at a two-game losing streak, the AFC West has immediately become much more competitive.
The Chargers have found new life after grabbing their second-straight win on Sunday, and now look to get right back in the hunt for the division title with a match against the rival Denver Broncos. For a division who started slow out of the gate, it could very easily be the most competitive and entertaining division through the second half of the NFL season.
