It began as a pitching duel, and then morphed into an amalgamation of questionable managerial decisions, clutch home runs and wacky plays. Game 2 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers simply had everything. The miraculous back-and-forth between both lineups eventually resulted in the Astros not only evening the series at one, but achieving their first World Series win in team history.
It was quite possibly the greatest Game 2 in the long history of baseball, but it may not have played out that way in years past. JT The Brick and Tomm Looney believe that the baseball has a little extra juice this year, which played a huge rule in a game that saw more home runs in extra innings than ever before. No matter what led to the wild game we saw on Wednesday night, there is plenty of potential for this to become the greatest World Series in the history of the sport.
Tune into JT 'The Brick' w/ Tomm Looney weeknights from 8pm - 11pm EST on FOX Sports Radio!
