Much has been made of the New York Giants' controversial decision to bench longtime starting quarter back Eli Manning in favor of pedestrian backup Geno Smith. The avalanche of bad publicity got even worse for the Giants today as the future Hall of Famer was seen practicing on the scout team.
Jason says the Giants should save manning the embarrassment he's going through and just release him. It's clear New York's front office is lacking of public relation skills, and it will likely GM Jerry Reese and head coach Ben McAdoo their jobs. There is a right way to treat a cherished, career employee and the Giants completely screwed it up.
