The USC Trojans beat the Stanford Cardinal to become the first PAC-12 South team to win the conference championship. Sam Darnold looked like a Heisman Trophy winner as he amassed an impressive stat-line en route to a 31-28 victory. The conversation around the country involving Darnold, however, is centered around his future. Soon, Darnold will have to make a decision on whether he will return to USC for his senior season, or jump to the NFL where many expect him to be the first quarterback taken off the board.
Jason Smith argues that articles surrounding his indecisiveness are actually signs that Darnold wants to go to the NFL but doesn't want to play for certain teams.
