To say the Monday Night Football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals was a brutal contest would be a gross understatement.
Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict left the field on a stretcher after he was blindsided by a vicious crack-back block from Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Less than four minutes later, Steelers receiver Antonio Brown was laid out on his game-tying touchdown after Bengals safety George Iloka drilled him with a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit in the end zone. Bear in mind both of these hits happened after Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier had to be carted off the field in the first quarter with a back injury that many home viewers feared may have left him paralyzed.
Clay Travis says he can envision a scenario where the bad blood between the Bengals and Steelers players spills into an off-the-field altercation somewhere in the near-future. Take a listen to the audio clip below to hear his reasoning why.
