Things got ugly late in the Seahawks-Jaguars game last night in Jacksonville. With the outcome of the game already decided and Jacksonville preparing to kneel out the clock, Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett sparked an on-field melee between the two teams after he rolled into the legs of Jaguars center Brandon Linder in what can only be described as an intent to injure.
The scuffle led to multiple players being ejected, including Seahawks defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson. As Jefferson was jogging into the locker room, a Jaguars fan threw something at him from the stands, which prompted Jefferson to try and climb into the stands and go after the fans he thought to be the culprits. Thankfully, several members of the Seahawks' equipment staff were able to pull him off the railing and escort him into the locker room before things go too out-of-hand.
Clay Travis says the Seahawks' late-game meltdown yesterday is further proof that Pete Carroll has lost control of his team. Take a listen to the audio clip below to hear him explain why.
