On Tuesday evening, Aaron Rodgers took to Instagram to announce that he has been medically cleared to return to the Packers and start this Sunday against the Panthers. Clay Travis thinks that the team needs to be smart & protect Rodgers from himself.
While he can understand Rodgers' desire to play, Clay thinks that the Packers chances of getting into the playoffs are too slim to risk further injury. Tony Romo was rushed back from a collarbone injury and was re-injured because he wasn't fully healed. Aaron Rodgers still has a lot of great football ahead of him and the team shouldn't put that in jeopardy.
