Late Thursday night a story surfaced out of New England that suggested there may be a power struggle within the Patriots involving Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and owner Robert Kraft. The rumor is that Tom Brady went over Belichick's head to get Jimmy Garoppolo traded to the 49ers.
If true, Clay Travis thinks that it's Bill Belichick or someone in his camp that leaked the details of this story. With Tom Brady's career inching closer to the end, Belichick thought he had the heir apparent in Garoppolo and he wanted to prove that HE is the architect behind the Pats dynasty; that he could do it without Brady.
