The Steelers scored 42 points in a playoff loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, in a game that brought many to question the play calling of head coach Mike Tomlin and Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley. Ben Roethlisberger questioned certain moves in his post game comments, further showing the dysfunction between the starting quarterback and primary play caller, Todd Haley. Haley just completed the final year of his contract and in all likelihood has called his last play as Offensive Coordinator of the Steelers. Big Ben has stated that he plans to return in 2018 which will be his 15th season as Pittsburgh's starting quarterback.
Steve and Jeffrey Gorman call Ben Roethlisberger out for not taking a larger role as the leader of the offense, and remaining quiet during the biggest moments when an offense he's spent his entire career in could have used his leadership in a pivotal post season game. Ben has earned the right to call audibles when the season is on the line, and that should be in the back of his head when he dons the black and yellow next season.
