It was announced earlier this week that John Wall would be undergoing a procedure on his knee which will keep him out of the lineup for the next six to eight weeks. Ben Maller doesn't think the Wizards are at risk of falling out of the playoff hunt without him. They have enough talent to tread water.
The real problem for the Wizards is long-term. It seems like Wall has chronic issues with his knees and this will ultimately hold the team back in the long run.
