Tom Brady just won his 3rd MVP, and it's the 10th time in the last 11 MVP voting that a quarterback has been given the honor. Brady had virtually no real competition for the award, and if you take into account he's 40, and led the league in passing yards, it makes sense that he was the favorite to ultimately win the award.
Dan Beyer & Mike Harmon do think the celebration is a little lackluster mainly because Brady didn't win because he completely blew away the competition, but because there was none. Dan thinks Brady won by default, and Mike completely agrees. Gurley had a nice season, but it was nothing compared to some of the MVP years by running backs of the past. You can listen to their full breakdown above.
