On Tuesday morning, it was announced that Josh McDaniels would be the next head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. By Tuesday afternoon, it was being announced that McDaniels had changed his mind and decided to stay in his role with the New England Patriots.
Clay Travis thinks that there is no way that McDaniels would have turned down a head coaching position in the NFL if he hadn't been promised the keys to the kingdom in New England. There had to have been some sort of conversation between McDaniels, Robert Kraft, and Belichick where McDaniels was assured that he is the head coach in waiting.
