Kobe Bryant just did something that no other NBA great has ever done: win an Academy Award. His Oscar for "Best Animated Short" put him in a league of his own and during his speech he shocked many by saying he felt "better than winning an NBA Championship."
Jason Smith and Mike Harmon have no doubt that his five NBA titles mean more to him, since they were something he had desired since he was just a child, but explain how it is actually more difficult to win an Oscar than a championship. Oscar voting can be extremely biased and incomprehensible that to come out on top in the highly-competitive field of film might actually be a more impressive accomplishment.
