Throwing at the Combine is not Real Life

"There's a lot of Tom Bradys in shorts and t-shirts; ain't many Tom Bradys in pads when it's 15 degrees out on 3rd and 8."

After the media raved over Josh Allen’s throwing power at the NFL Combine earlier this week, Clay Travis wanted to talk the time to remind everyone that throwing in shorts and a t-shirt indoors with dozens watching, isn’t exactly simulating what’s going to be expected for the next decade+ of their career.

Travis says we’re starting to lose track of what makes a great quarterback, and are looking for simplification in the scouting process that leads to teams trying to leave their appraisals down to a single couple-minute workout in Indianapolis.
