The Raptors are Hurt by Television Rights

The Toronto Raptors are on a tear lately. They are the first team to clinch a playoff berth and are sitting firmly atop the entire Eastern Conference. Despite all of that, it seems like the team gets continually lost in the conversation.

Clay Travis believes that the television rights are to blame for the lack of attention the Raptors and their stars get. The companies that own the television rights for the NBA in the USA would be hesitant to put the Raptors on one of their national games, because they would be missing out on the ratings since everyone in the Raptors home area will be watching on another channel.
