There were a lot of upsets over the weekend in the NCAA Tournament, and for the first time ever, we saw a #16 seed take down a #1 seed. We will also head into the Sweet 16 without two of the #1 seeds for only the 4th time since 1979.
Clay Travis points out that situations like this make the NCAA Tournament one of the most exciting and simultaneously the worst way to crown a champion in any sport. A single elimination upset over a #1 means that the team moving on isn't necessarily the better one.
