After missing over 60 games in his rookie season, Markelle Fultz returned to the court Monday night, and he did not disappoint. Fultz put up solid numbers, posting 10 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds in 14 minutes of play. Now he did take 13 shots in 14 minutes, but I'm sure Fultz, 76ers brass, and fans were just happy to see the former #1 overall pick on the court and making shots. It's been a tough road for FUltz and the 76ers, but things may be paying off.
Jason and Mike think if Fultz can live up to some of the hype and stays healthy, the 76ers can make some serious noise in the NBA Playoffs. Jason says having a healthy and productive Fultz would be like the 76ers signing a new free agent for the playoffs. Things are looking up in Philadelphia for a city that is already on an upswing with their football team being reigning champions.
Tune into The Jason Smith w/ Mike Harmon weeknights from 8pm - 11pm EST on FOX Sports Radio!
