"Kevin Durant is the second-best player in the world, but he's the third most important player on that team."
Steve and Jeffrey Gorman took exception to a recent interview with Steve Kerr, where the Warriors coach proclaimed that his team could still ‘beat anyone without Steph’, as a Curry sprained MCL will shelve the sharpshooter till the second round of the playoffs at least.
The Gormans not only thought this was a slight to the two-time MVP, by acting like his absence won’t matter, but a shot at their potential playoff opponents as well, with Kerr seemingly boasting how incredibly bulletproof his Warriors are, even when usually the loss of a Hall of Fame talent is enough to ruin a season.
Steve even went onto say that Curry is more valuable to the team than Kevin Durant.
