One of the most controversial situations of Super Bowl LII was Patriots HC Bill Belichick electing not to play star CB Malcolm Butler for a single defensive snap in the game. The Pats lost 41-33 and could not make several key defensive stops. The general reaction to the situation is to criticize Belichick and that it was a mistake to not play Butler.
Jonas Knox discusses the situation in New England after Butler did an interview with Sports Illustrated about the incident. He doesn't understand why Belichick--widely considered one of the best coaches of all time--is not getting the benefit of the doubt.
