1. The Cleveland Browns will select

Sam Darnold - QB - USC

Darnold WILL PLAY. Best chance to win football games and to be a long-term QB

Trade Alert: Buffalo Bills will trade up from the #12 spot with the New York Giants. Need the Colts to participate. 

Terms: 

  • Bills get Giants #2 pick 
  • Giants Get Colts #6 pick and Bills #22 and #65
  • Colts get Bills #12, #53 and #96

2. The Buffalo Bills will then select

Josh Allen - QB - Wyoming

Needs time to sit and develop.

3. The New York Jets will select (via Colts)

Baker Mayfield - QB - Oklahoma Sooners

Polarizing but accurate. Has the ability to elevate the play of players around him. Tremendous personality for the New York media market.

4. The Cleveland Browns will select

Bradley Chubb - DE - N.C. State

Will help create a rushing tandem with Myles Garrett.

5. The Denver Broncos will select

Quenton Nelson - G - Notre Dame

Best overall player to help their team. Will be a perennial pro bowler.

6. New York Giants will Select (via trade from #2)

Saquon Barkley - RB - Penn State

Good fit for an offense that could use his skillset.

7. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will select

Minkah Fitzpatrick - DB - Alabama

Versatile DB. One of the top players of the remaining players available.

8. The Chicago Bears will Select

Denzel Ward - CB - Ohio St.

Speed, physicality, and ball skills make him a great pick for the bears.

9. The San Francisco 49ers will select

Derwin James - DB - FSU

Has versatility to play in the box almost as a linebacker to roll down into slot and cover and still play well in coverage.
