The Cleveland Browns shocked the football world on Thursday Night by taking Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield with the first overall pick in the NFL Draft. The pick has received a lot of mixed reviews, with many ripping the Browns organization for passing on the consensus best quarterback Sam Darnold. The Browns have faced criticism in large part due to their poor history of drafting quarterbacks over the last 20 years.
Darnold is now a New York Jet after falling to #3 overall and a lot of people seem to think that Darnold is an absolute steal and will benefit from the Browns "mistake". Jonas Knox wonders why everyone just assumes that Browns whiffed and the Jets got an absolute steal. He explains why Darnold is in a much more difficult spot than Baker Mayfield in the audio above.
