The Oklahoma City Thunder and Russell Westbrook were eliminated from the NBA playoffs. Again. In the first round. This scenario is something that has become the norm for Westbrook and the Thunder.
Despite the surrounding cast and year, Westbrook and the Thunder can't seem to get over the hump in the playoffs. This year the Thunder fell to a young-blood Utah Jazz team led by possible rookie of the year Donovan Mitchell. After possibly their most disappointing playoff let down, is it time for the Thunder to explore new possibilities and maybe part ways with Westbrook?
