Mike Slive Was A Great Commissioner & A Great Man

Former Southeastern Conference commissioner Mike Slive died on Wednesday at the age of 77 years old. Clay Travis fondly remembers the former SEC commish and how he was not only great at his job, but was just an all-around good person.

Clay recalls how after the birth of his 2nd child, Slive was one of the first people to call him up and congratulate him. Clay also recalls another story where during an interview, Slive teared up when talking about the SEC...revealing the genuine passion he has for the conference and the job.
