Monologue: Carnage At The U.S. Open

High winds dominated the first round of the 2018 U.S. Open leaving only four golfers to finish the day under par including Dustin Johnson who has a share of the lead at Shinnecock. Many of golf’s biggest names played poorly, including Tiger Woods, who triple bogeyed to start and finished eight over par on the first day.

JT looks back at the first round of the U.S. Open and says that he witnessed carnage on the course as many of golf’s top players struggled to put together solid rounds. JT thinks that the USGA has to make the course easier if they want people to tune in for the rest of the tournament. JT breaks down leader Dustin Johnson’s round and thinks he has put himself in a good position going forward. JT says he couldn’t believe Tiger’s first round troubles and that he doesn’t have a chance to win because he fell apart.
