Brooklyn Bound?

When the Brooklyn Nets made a trade earlier this week to absorb Dwight Howard's expiring deal, it was clear to see that they had their eyes set on the summer of 2019 when guys like Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler and Klay Thompson become free agents.

Now, outsiders might laugh at the idea that the Nets being an attractive landing spot for free agents. But, those of us in the know have heard rumblings for years about Kyrie Irving's affinity for the city of New York, and the friendship he shares with Jimmy Butler has been an open secret for some time now. 

Jason McIntyre says if you read the tea leaves the end-game is clear:  Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler will team up to play for the Brooklyn Nets in 2019. Book it.
