It's A Different NBA

The NBA Offseason never ceases to deliver as Thunder F Paul George--to the surprise of many--agreed to re-sign with OKC on a four year deal. It was a shocking move because not many expected PG13 to stay with the Thunder after being traded their last Summer. It was widely expected that he would go to his hometown team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Yet after a year in OKC, George not only elected to stay--but he elected to stay for the long haul.

So why did Paul George choose small-market Oklahoma City over the glitz & glamour of LA? Jonas Knox explains why this is the latest example of the NBA being a different league now then it has been in the past. He says it's not about the organizations, put about the players knowing their worth.
