Former head coach Steve Sarkisian attempted to file a wrongful termination lawsuit against USC claiming that the university did not allow him to seek treatment for his alcoholism. On Tuesday, an arbitrator ruled in favor of USC saying that they were not responsible for any further compensation.
Ben Maller thinks that this was 100% the correct decision. Maller goes on to point out that Sarkisian has never really had any success, riding the coattails of Pete Carroll. Also, his alcoholism was never an issue until he crossed a line and showed up drunk to team activities.
