Fox Sports Radio Renews Multi-Year Deal with Clay Travis

LOS ANGELES, July 17, 2018 – FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Networks, announced today a renewed and extended relationship with multimedia sports personality Clay Travis. Under the multi-year agreement, Travis will continue his current role as host of the network’s morning drive program, Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis. Broadcasting Monday through Friday from 6 to 9 a.m. ET, it can be heard on nearly 300 stations nationwide, in addition to and FOX Sports Radio’s channel on iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s free all-in-one digital music, podcasting and live streaming radio service.

Originating from Nashville, Tenn., Outkick The Coverage features Travis’ informed, outspoken, fearless and often funny commentary on the latest sports headlines, as well as pop culture commentary, interviews and listener interaction. The program debuted on FOX Sports Radio in September 2016, and has experienced significant audience growth in the past year, including +17.2% with Adults 25-54 and +17.6% with Men 25-54. On flagship station AM 570 L.A. Sports/KLAC in Los Angeles, Outkick The Coverage has grown +87.5% with Adults 25-54 and +75% with Men 25-54 in the last year. Live streaming of Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis on iHeartRadio and is also up 30% year-to-year, and total listening hours on the digital platforms are up 25% year to year.

About Clay Travis

In July of 2007, Travis published his first book Dixieland Delight, a critically-acclaimed chronicle of his 2006 tour of all 12 Southeastern Conference football stadiums and his entertaining fan experiences at every stop. The Nashville native and former lawyer previously wrote columns for for four years before joining Deadspin as an editor in 2008. During fall of that year, he began his second book, On Rocky Top: A Front-Row Seat to the End of an Era, an all-access tell-all documenting the University of Tennessee football program over the course of its season.
