Patriots Are Still In A Better Spot Than Most Of The NFL

The New England Patriots lost Super Bowl LII to the Philadelphia Eagles over five months ago. Yet the big topic of conversation to open training camp surrounded Bill Belichick benching star CB Malcolm Butler. Butler has since signed with the Tennessee Titans and the Patriots have seemingly moved on. Still during the opening press conference for training camp--Dan Shaughnessy asked Bill Belichick about the situation. To say things got uncomfortable is an understatement. 

A lot of people seem to think that this could be a down year for the Patriots considering they lost several key free agents including Butler, Danny Amendola and Nate Solder. Doug Gottlieb explains why the Patriots are actually still in a better spot than most of the teams in the league.
