Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was placed on paid administrative leave Wednesday as the wife of former assistant coach Zach Smith came forward that several people, including Meyer, knew of her 2015 allegation of domestic violence against her then-husband. It has become clear that Urban Meyer and Ohio State tried to sweep it under the rug, which baffles Jason Smith and Mike Harmon.
A big reason women in America are still scared to come forward with similar allegations is because men in power continue to squash their story. Domestic violence is not an issue that should be swept under the rug and hopefully another case like this will make that finally seep into the heads of everyone.
