The NCAA announced multiple rule changes for college basketball today, including that "elite" players will be able to work with an agent while declaring for the NBA draft.
It's only the beginning but it is extremely confusing. While USA Basketball will be the governing body to decide whether or not a player is elite, it still left Steve and Jeffrey Gorman scratching their heads. The guys say that the NBA should have been included since USA Basketball was completely blindsided by the announcement. The NCAA is making an effort to fix the one-and-done rule but it's clear that they have more work to do to make sure that everything flows smoothly.
