NFL starters and the preseason don't mix well. Balancing the right amount of reps along with protecting a team's first string stars is different for every team and debated every year. What's the right way? No one really knows. If you're the Los Angeles Rams for instance the fewer, if any, preseason reps the better it seems.
Dan Beyer and Jonas Knox, sitting in for Doug Gottlieb, discuss how the Rams have handled their team's time on the field during the preseason and if they agree with the low number of reps for new players like Brandin Cooks and players like Todd Gurley and Jared Goff not playing in the preseason at all. Is it confidence or playing it safe?
