The Seattle Seahawks were victorious against the Arizona Cardinals but not without suffering a loss of their own. Seahawks safety, Earl Thomas was carted off the field after suffering a broken leg. Thomas was in the middle of trying to secure a new contract this season or at least be traded to a team that would give him one in hopes of financial security against injuries like the one he suffered. Thomas was less than pleased (as you can see in the image below) that the timing of everything didn't quite work out and that reaction was aimed directly at the Seahawks side of the field. Ben Maller thinks that 'bird' is being aimed precisely at head coach, Pete Carroll.
