Even though Penn State suffered one of the biggest heartbreaking losses of the season on Saturday night in what will probably kill the school’s chance at making the College Football Playoff, Clay Travis still has immense hopes for James Franklin’s chances at winning Penn State its first National Championship since 1986.
The 46-year-old Franklin is 64-33 for his career, but has notched back-to-back eleven win seasons at Penn State, and accomplished more at Vanderbilt during his three years there than any individual had attained in the entire history of the program, as Franklin become the first coach ever to lead Vanderbilt to back-to-back postseason appearances.
